First Generation:

(1) Alexander Rea (1710 – 1771) & Sarah

Alexander Rea and his second wife Sarah were Irish immigrants who first appeared in Sussex County, New Jersey about 1752. They eventually settled in Kingwood Township, where Alexander died leaving property to his sons and money to his daughters.

Names underlined have children on this tree.

Like all family trees on Goodspeed Histories, the children of daughters are included but the granddaughters are not. Also, I generally do not track families that move out of Hunterdon County. Finally, sometimes I will add the parents of spouses, and sometimes I won’t.

Because I am lacking information on five of the eight children of Alexander and Sarah, corrections and additions are welcome in the comments section.
