The Lequear Family in Hunterdon County is a very old one. I have written about them in The Old Lequear Farm, with a focus on the Amwell branch of the family, headed by Gerrardus Lequear. In the future, I hope to write more about the Kingwood branch, headed by Thomas Lequear and Elizabeth Bray.

According to Stillwell, V3:111, “10 Elizabeth Bray” was the d/o “2 John Bray” and the granddaughter of Rev. John Bray.

Thank you, Nick. I put Elizabeth (c.1726-1814) with Rev.John (1694-1765) because the ages work out. As far as I know she was the granddaughter of Rev. Jonathan Bray (c.1660-c.1717). The other Rev. John Bray I know of is too early (c.1661-1716).
