I think this is the first time I’ve prepared a tree and not found any second marriages. Given the mortality of young women in the 19th century, this is quite a surprise, and I suspect I am missing someone.
As is the case with other family trees, my focus is on Hunterdon families named Fulper. Families of women named Fulper who married and had children will only include their children and will go no further.
I have highlighted surnames of spouses in bold to indicate that their families have trees that have been published here. For the Fulper family, that turned out to be quite a few.
Until now I have avoided use of the symbols < and > to designate before or after birth/death dates. But the lines get too long with this family, so the time has come to use them.

(1) Peter Fulper (c.1725 – ) and Unknown Spouse
The earliest record I have of Peter Fulper is the will of his grandfather Philip Young of Amwell, dated Oct. 12, 1768, in which he left “to Peter Fulpher, my wife’s son, the plantation where he lives, of 100 acres, which I bought of Casper Hackenback.” Peter Fulper’s wife’s name may have been Mary; a Mrs. Mary Fulper died on April 29, 1803, according to NJ Death Records. Peter Fulper died intestate in 1804; estate records did not name a spouse, so perhaps Mary was in fact his wife, dying one year before he did.
There was a William Fulper, born c.1750, private in the Revolution, married to an Elizabeth Snook, died 1830; I have no further information on his family.
A John Fulper, born c.1780 in Pennsylvania, and wife Mary had a daughter Mary who married Wm Heath and a son Charles who married Sarah Hoppock.
